Website

This website does not ask for an email address, use advertising trackers or store the demo text. The demo runs in the current browser tab and clears when you leave. Hosting requests reach Vercel, which may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and request logs to serve and secure the site. If you follow an external link, that destination has its own privacy practices.

Notes and device storage

Cogni stores local captures and preferences on your device. Media capture uses the permissions you grant for that action. Local notes are not automatically a cloud backup. Export content you want to preserve before deleting the app or clearing its storage.

Accounts

Supabase provides account authentication. Account information can include your email, user identifier and authentication/security events. Session tokens use the device’s secure storage. Account deletion is available through the app; separately clear local data if you also want to remove device content.

Optional AI and cloud indexing

Using connected AI sends the content and request data you select through Supabase to OpenAI. Cloud search/indexing may retain selected text, chunks, embeddings and operational usage records needed for retrieval and usage limits. You can decline AI and use the available consent-revocation and cloud-data controls in Settings. Originals remain distinct from suggestions.

Subscriptions

When purchases launch, Apple will process payment and RevenueCat will help determine access. They may process app user identifiers, product identifiers and purchase/entitlement information. Cogni does not receive your full payment card details. Cancelling a subscription and deleting an account are separate actions.

Diagnostics

Monitoring configuration and the App Store privacy declaration must be checked against the signed release build. Do not send private notes or credentials in bug reports. The current website has no product analytics integration.

Your controls and requests

Use the app’s export, deletion and AI controls. Testing help is available through Support; do not include private account or note data in a public issue. A dedicated private privacy contact must be established before launch.

Changes

This notice will be updated when production configuration, data flows or contact details change. Check the updated date and in-app consent before enabling new connected features.
